Vineyards

The fruit for our 2007 Password was sourced from the finest vineyards within Coombsville, St. Helena and Rutherford. These sites were chosen very deliberately because of the unique characteristics each offered to our blend.

Coombsville provided fruit with flavors of blackberries, black plums, mulberries, and dried herbs. The textures are silky with very soft and fine tannins. The body is smooth and elegant with subtle power. With St. Helena we added a refined earthiness with tones of unsweetened, baking chocolate, strawberries and cherry fruit. Finally, Rutherford added aromas of cocoa powder, and vanilla with nuances of fresh cranberry and an intriguing character that can only be described as Rutherford dust.

These flavor and aroma profiles working together have allowed us to create a truly remarkable wine.
